The 2024 Bring And Buy Second Hand Marketplace

On Saturday morning at 10am we'll be running a "Kinky Bring and Buy Sale" for 2 hours. This is for attendees to sell predominantly second-hand items, rather than the new goods available from commercial dealers in the Den. Whether you've had a major clear-out or just want to shift that one pair of leather shorts that don't fit any more, or you have nothing to sell but can sniff out a bargain, come along to The Tundra from 10am to Midday.

What Can I Sell Or Buy

What can I sell, or what will I find to buy? It doesn't have to be kinky - fursuit parts are welcome, for example - but it can be. Latex suits, fursuits, furry accessories, kinky or alternative boots or footwear, leather clothing, puppy play accessories - not your old street clothes, pots and pans or anything else you would ordinarily give to a charity shop. Selling items that the attendees are likely to wear or want to wear at Pawsome is likely to yield a better success rate for you. Pawsome staff reserve the right to reject any item for sale, for any reason, but generally due to being inappropriate or not suited for this event.

How Do I Sell

  • How do I sell my stuff? Register as a seller using the form below and you'll be confirmed within 48 hours.
  • Last-minute registration in person is possible on the day, but we'll need to add you to the till system before you can sell anything so advance registration is strongly preferred.
  • Collect your blank price tags, either from ConOps in advance or during the setup time from 9am to 10am before the event opens.
  • Securely fasten a tag to every item you want to sell, filled in with your PAW ID number and the price you want to sell that piece for. Items without tags cannot be sold, and might get collected up as lost property - we don't want to accidentally sell the pup hood that someone left lying around!
  • Lay out your items on the tables or rails in The Tundra by 10am. Please be considerate and leave room for others - you won't have a table to yourself like a Den dealer would.

How Do I Buy

  • Check the tag on the item for the price. If you find any items without tags, please bring this to the attention of the seller, if present, or Pawsome staff.
  • Take the item to the till. You pay Pawsome, not the seller directly.
  • For security and to keep track of transactions, all sales are by credit or debit card, not cash.

FAQ

As a seller, do I need to stick around?

  • Sellers are encouraged to remain in the room to look after their items, promote them to buyers, and answer any questions. However, this isn't required - all transactions are handled by Pawsome staff, so if you'd rather drop off your things and head off to another activity, you may. Please be aware that, while we keep a general eye on the room, we can't be responsible for any irregularities regarding unattended goods. We'll sell them for the price on the tag at the till, and hold any unsold items with your tags on at the end for you to pick up - anything else is at your risk.

As a seller, how do I get paid?

  • You'Il provide bank details when you register as a seller. After the sale closes, we'll total up all the transactions made under your PAW ID number, deduct a small commission to cover the card processing fees, and transfer the balance to you.

What happens to unsold goods?

  • As a seller present at the close of the event, please help us by taking your unsold goods away with you. The remainder will be collected up, grouped by the PAW ID number on the tag, and made available for you to collect later from ConOps. Any goods not collected by the end of the convention will become the property of Pawsome, and either disposed of or sold for the benefit of the convention fund.
